Sorry but that’s not what this article is about.
You see, no matter how many tricks you have, the truth is, tricks don’t lead to long-lasting success.
What does lead to long-lasting success? Who you hang out with and who you are as a person and the person you want to become – that’s what.
As Jim Rohn said, “You become the average of the five people you surround yourself with.” These 5 people show you what is possible and what can be done.
After all, if this group all do any activity it must be OK and good for you? This can be anything that takes you to where you want to go, and many times it even sets where you see yourself going, or it can take you away from where you see yourself going.
And this can be in any area, from relationships to health to money to . . .
How do you surround yourself with people who are going places you want to be?
After all, you know who else has heard this too?
Successful people! Those who are healthy or have been married for 25 + years or those who are wealthy . . .
So how do you get to hang out with the kind of people who can help you be successful?
The best way is to join a Mastermind group.
And not any mastermind, but one that is moving you towards where you want to go and that has people who are closer to your goal than you are.
If you’re in a group and you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong group if you want to grow.
I’ve been a member of a few different Masterminds and every group has helped push me to higher and higher successes.
How you might ask?
First by guiding me with input on how to accomplish what I want to reach my goals. The feedback from a group of skilled people all working on your business for 45 minutes to an hour can save you or make you 1,000s of dollars. They get you to success faster.
But more important than this is (and this is really valuable so pay attention) seeing what others are doing and what they’re accomplishing.
As I look back on what people in the various groups have accomplished since we’ve been together it’s astounding. I can see how far they’ve come since we started and what they’ve been able to create.
For example…
The person leaving a company he had founded under duress and starting a new company that was 7-figure within a year.
OR…
The doctor adding a side marketing business that now generates a 6-figure recurring monthly income.
OR…
The bowling center owner from a small town who is on his way to a 6-figure information business in less than a year.
OR…
The digital agency owner who lost half their staff and rebuild the company in a little over a year and doubled their size and profits at the same time.
OR…
The sales trainer who had a hiccup in his life and now is back on track and growing fast.
OR…
The information marketing startup who now is in demand around the country in his niche and growing fast.
OR…
Gosh, there are countless others that come to mind.
As I’ve said I’ve been part of high-level masterminds for many years.
All these people inspire me to be better, reach higher and do more because they have accomplished great things and show me the way.
Who is showing you the way?
Who is setting your expectations and showing you what is possible?
The truth is, you can have anything you want. All you need to do is find someone who has done it and model what they did. You need to know their entire system, not just what you can see.
And in a Mastermind group, you can discover the entire system.
