Have Your Results Changed in the last days, weeks, months, or years?
What do I mean by that?
I mean when you talk to 10 people, do more move forward with you now than they did in the past?
Or when you run an ad when 1000 people see it do you get more responses or is the response rate holding the same?
Over time as you talk to more people and you refine your message, your response rate should be improving.
If it’s not, you’re not paying attention.
I can hear you saying, I can’t pay attention to everything, and I agree.
But if you want to change your results you need to look at what you’re doing, what results you’re getting, and then start making changes.
The fastest way to make changes is to listen to what people are telling you and watch their body language. Both are keys to seeing how people are responding to your message.
Then you can make adjustments and do it all over again.
This way every week you’ll be getting a little better at what you do and the results you get.
Over time, and not very much time, you’re going to see better results.
Now, what about your ads?
That’s where testing comes in.
Try one message and see what kind of response you get. If the numbers are what you want, keep running it, but . . .
Then measure the results and see how the new one does.
If it’s better consider stopping the first one and running the second, if it’s not leave the first one running and try another.
One thing to remember: Never stop a campaign that’s working to try an untested campaign.
You can test the new campaign while you continue the old one.
Many times as business owners we get tired of our marketing before the public does. We think everyone has seen our ads and responded.
Most times we’re wrong. It takes much more repetition and exposure to get people to take action than we think.
