You Don’t Know How Hard It Is To . . .

you don't know how hard it is to

I’ve heard some version of “You don’t know how hard it is to _____” from several people in the past week.

Many of these people would be considered to have it made by people on the outside looking in.

People like the successful dentist who is overwhelmed by how much time it takes to deal with his staff every day and feels like the world is on his shoulders

Or a successful company with several hundred employees who’s business owner feels like no one “gets” what he’s going through. He’s alone and has to solve all the problems of the world on their own.

Or the person starting a new business that has good margins and a huge potential for growth that is talking about how much needs to be done to set up the online marketing funnel which may bring them an extra million dollars in the next couple years

Or the grocery store owner working 60 to 80 hour weeks, making sure that their staff is doing what needs to be done and that their customers are getting the service and products they expect.

And on a challenging day, I may even say, “Jeesh, if you only knew how hard it is to spend 8 hours a day on Facebook.”

None of these people are complaining, at least not much. They’re just stating their truth.

As I’ve analyzed what I feel and I’ve listened to these people I wonder what causes this.

After all, when I look at this group it looks like we have it made.

We knew what we wanted and then we went and got it – right? We’re living the dream.

But honestly, now that we have ‘it’ it’s not always what we thought it would be.

Now think about your business and life. Is it what you expected?

Does it feel harder than you expected? And if so, why?

I’m not sure why but all of us compare ourselves to others and their lives always look better to us from the outside looking in.

What I do know is that one of the issues that almost every business owner mentions as to why their lives are so tough is the lack of more prospects and sales. They want more and they can’t seem to figure out how to make it happen.

The Dentist is looking for more patients.

The business owner wants more leads for their salespeople.

The startup owner wants more sales of their new product.

The grocery store owner just wants more people in their store.

And I would like even more people signing up to be my clients.

If only we had more life would be good, right?

If this sounds like you, Facebook marketing may be able to help make your life a whole lot easier.

After all, a well-tuned Facebook Marketing Machine can bring you a steady stream of new customers on autopilot.

Facebook can also help you recruit staff if you are looking for more people.

It’s a powerful tool to have in your tool chest.

If you aren’t getting a steady stream of new customers from Facebook let’s talk.
