Keep It Simple & Increase Business

When someone wants to contact you to learn more about your business, make sure to keep it simple.

What do I mean by that?

Let me give you a couple of examples.

First:

Online scheduling links are a powerful tool for those of us who schedule appointments. They let your prospect pick a time that works for them and the program is connected to your calendar, so it knows when you’re available.

The challenge is that the link for my 30-minute appointment is https://www.appointmentcore.com/app/freeslots/SmXHsZxx. Now I don’t know about you but trying to tell someone to schedule at that link is tough.

It’s fine if you’re sending a link in an email or a direct message and your prospect can just click it, but if you are talking to someone and you want to give them your link, or if you send something in physical mail, that link above is a nightmare to type in. One mistake and it won’t work.

However, many times you can buy a domain that you can use and direct it to the URL you want. This may sound complicated, but it’s not.

The domain that I purchased is http://brianscalendar.com/. This goes to the same URL as the above link, but when I tell someone to schedule an appointment at brianscalendar.com they are amazed that it’s so easy to remember and use.

Plus it is easy to type in if you don’t have a link.

Second:

Set up redirects from your site to get to all your social media profiles.

What do I mean by that?

If you have information on Facebook or Instagram or LinkedIn or YouTube or any other platform and you want people to find you how do they do it?

Most go to the social media platform and search for your business. That works but what if there are similar businesses to you on that platform?

Or in the case of YouTube, you may not have enough followers to get a custom channel?

You can lose your prospect if they have to work too hard to find you.

However, there are WordPress plugins that make it easy to set up redirects.

So if you’re looking to follow Go Social Experts you can go to…

www.gosocialexperts.com/linkedin
www.gosocialexperts.com/youtube
www.gosocialexperts.com/pinterest
www.gosocialexperts.com/twitter
www.gosocialexperts.com/instagram

You get the idea.

While this is perhaps not ideal, it’s still a much easier way for people to find you on your social media channels.

Now, these people are not always ready to buy from you right now. But they are interested in learning more about you which just means they aren’t ready yet.

When they are, they will buy.

These are two easy ideas to make it easy for people to find you.

How else can you use these tools and make it easy for people to find or connect with you?

The easier it is the more likely people will do what you want.

Have a great day!
